GARY BARLOW and his wife DAWN are having a baby girl.

TAKE THAT star Gaz and his stunning dancer missus have told their kids, Daniel and Emily, that a little sister is on the way over the Christmas period.
And the nippers have been telling everyone how excited they are about a new addition to the family.
A source said: “Daniel and Emily have been blabbing to anyone who will listen that Mummy and Daddy are having a little girl.

“It was meant to be a secret — but the cat is well and truly out of the bag now.”

Gary said: “We are on emergency over Christmas. We’re due on January 17 — but both of our other children were really early.”
All in all, the Barlow clan are facing an epic new year.
In February Gary is leading a collection of showbiz characters, including me, up Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief.
So he will have to cut down on the Christmas pudding to make sure he stays in shape.
Then, in the summer, Take That will play a UK arena tour in front of more than a million screaming fans.

Gary would be a wise man to make the most of the festive hols. Things are about to get very busy indeed.

TT vendem 1 milhão de discos em 19 dias

Os Take That venderam um milhão exemplares de «Circus» em dezanove dias, o que os torna sérios candidatos a banda que melhores números conseguiu este ano.
«Rockferry», de Duffy, foi o álbum mais vendido este ano, no Reino Unido. Contudo, os Take That falharam o recorde dos Oasis que venderam um milhão de cópias de «Be Here Now», em onze dias.

Take That Extend 2009 Tour To Mark Millionth Ticket Sale

Take That have further extended their 2009 UK Stadium tour with an extra show in Wales.

The band will now play Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on June 17th in addition to a sold out date on June 16th.
The concert will take tickets sales for the band's month long tour next summer over the million mark. To celebrate, the fan who buys the millionth ticket will win the chance to meet the group.

As previously reported on Gigwise, singer Gary Barlow today refused to rule out the possibility of Robbie Williams making a spectacular return to the boy band.
Tickets for the new show go on sale next Tuesday (December 16th) at 9am and will be available through Gigwise here.

Robbie Williams: "Quiero volver a Take That"

La buena estrella con la que ha resurgido la banda británica Take That desde su reunión en 2005 hace que resulte poco sorpresivo el deseo de Robbie Williams de volver a formar parte del grupo en el que saltó a la fama en la década de los noventa. Sin embargo, llama la atención que el cantante lo admita públicamente.

En una entrevista con el periódico The Sun, Williams reconoce sin tapujos que se sentiría "como en la luna" si lo aceptaran de vuelta en la banda, que ha vendido cerca de tres millones de copias de su álbum Beautiful World desde que lo lanzaron hace tres años.

"Me gustaría pensar que seríamos la única banda en la historia que volvería a juntarse gracias a sus diferencias artísticas", admite el cantante de 34 años en el artículo, refiriéndose al grupo que abandonó en 1995 y que se disolvió un año después, mientras Williams disfrutaba de un inmenso estrellato con su carrera en solitario.

Sin embargo, tras una seguidilla de álbumes exitosos, el cantante se estableció en Los Ángeles y su carrera comenzó a dar un vuelco a comienzos de esta década, en la que Williams ha batallado contra la depresión, la drogadicción y ha visto cómo su éxito se desvanecía lentamente, especialmente en Inglaterra. Así fue cómo Robbie Williams recibió la noticia de la reunión de la banda que lo vio nacer en 2005 y por ello no es raro que desde esa época existan rumores de su deseo por volver al nido.

Según publica The Sun, el cantante se ha tatuado una imagen de Take That en el brazo derecho en señal de apoyo a sus ex compañeros, que hoy por hoy vuelven a disfrutar del éxito con su segundo disco tras la reunión, The Circus. Sin embargo, los rumores de la vuelta de Williams surgieron con más fuerza al saberse que el cantante ha comprado una casa campestre en el condado de Wiltshire, por la que ha pagado alrededor de ocho millones de euros, por lo que todo hace presagiar que dentro de poco dejará Los Ángeles para volver a su país.

The Sun informa también que Williams y el cantante Gary Barlow han tenido conversaciones formales sobre la posibilidad de grabar un único DVD a modo de una reunión especial de Take That. Ambos conversaron cuando se encontraron el mes pasado durante un partido de fútbol en el que jugaba el club inglés Arsenal.

Circus is a record breaker

TAKE THAT’s The Circus has become the fastest-selling album of the year.

The man band had shifted a whopping 306,000 copies by the end of play on Thursday, 3,000 more than COLDPLAY managed with Viva La Vida in June.

And with sales from two of the busiest shopping days of the year still to be counted, records are sure to keep tumbling.

If they can get past 400,000 they will topple DIDO’s Life For Rent and claim the third largest first week sales in UK chart history.

OASIS hold the title of fastest-selling album of all time.

Be Here Now was snapped up by 695,000 fans in August 1997.

Coldplay are in second place with X&Y, which shifted 460,000 copies in June 2005.

Genarro Castaldo, of HMV, said: “Take That have smashed the record for fastest-selling album of the year.

É caso para dizer que não há lugar no mundo para dois álbuns com nomes iguais editados na mesma semana, quanto mais 1º lugar. The Circus da boysband renascida na fisga para o topo das tabelas.

Britney faz hoje 27 anos, faz este ano uma década de MTV, está em plena reabilitação pública e pessoal depois de um início de ano conturbado mas nem por isso os Take That a querem deixar levar a melhor na corrida às tabelas de vendas.

Em menos de 24 horas , The Circus , o novo álbum da boysband outrora de Robbie Williams vendeu 133 mil cópias, marca que ultrapassa estreias concorridas como a de Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends dos Coldplay em Junho.

Circus, o sexto registo de estúdio da cantora, é editado hoje e as previsões adiantam que não chegará a suplantar a meta de 300 mil unidades avançadas para os Take That até ao final da semana, apesar da expecativa gerada em torno do lançamento e de uma possível digressão mundial já em 2009.

Esta semana na capa da Rolling Stone, Britney disse à publicação que se sente velha e que não há meio-termo na exposição pública que um artista acaba por sofrer quando decide escrever letras autobiográficas. "É assustador mas se não se quer fazê-lo não dá só para ir até meio caminho".

o primeiro single deste álbum, ‘Greatest Day’ é o single mais vendido em Inglaterra, assim como o tema mais tocado. ‘The Circus’ tem contabilizado, até agora, 600 mil unidades pré-vendidas na Grã-Bretanha, o que equivale à maior pré-venda neste mercado em 2008. A digressão ‘The Circus’ pela Grã-Bretanha tornou-se também, muito rapidamente, na mais bem sucedida de todos os tempos, para a qual se venderam mais de 700 mil bilhetes em apenas 3 horas, incluindo 4 estádios de Wembley.
