Gary Barlow takes family to LA for holiday - Dailymail

After completing the run of gigs with Take That, Gary Barlow took some time to play the family man as he arrived in Los Angeles. The father-of-three was spotted with his brood at LAX airport yesterday, cradling his most recent addition, seven-month-old Daisy.

He was also accompanied by his wife Dawn and their other two other children Daniel, eight, and Emily, seven.

The 38-year-old pop star is probably looking forward to some time out after the UK tour with the Manchester band.

But fans who didn't get to see the chart-topping group this time around need not worry as Gary says the Circus gigs will hopefully not be their last.

A Message From Take That

"To everyone who saw us on tour…
Well, what can we say? We’ve just come to the end of some of the most incredible weeks of our lives. The tour was an even more amazing event for us than we could have possibly hoped, and a very big part of that is down to the wonderful audiences we had each night.
Thank you so, so much for all your continued support. We feel hugely privileged to have such brilliant fans and we hope you enjoyed the show as much as we enjoyed performing for you.
With all our very best wishes"

Mark, Gary, Jason & Howard

Take That: officially better than The Beatles

Take That have won a second Silver Clef award, which makes them 'better' than The Beatles and the Rolling Stones, officially, because the '60s legends have only ever won once.

The Silver Clef awards are given for songwriting achievement by Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy. 2009's O2 Silver Clef Lunch was a fundraiser for the charity held at London's Hilton hotel on Park Lane on 3 July. Take That first won a Silver Clef in 1995.

On hearing they had won a landmark second Silver Clef award, Take That singer Gary Barlow announced the quartet would make a £50k donation to the music therapy charity.

Other winners at this year's event included:

Brian Wilson - Best International Act
Madness - Icon Award
La Roux - Best Newcomer
Queen - Ambassadors Of Rock

That’s great news

IT’S the news all TAKE THAT fans have been waiting to hear – there will definitely be another album.

Over a million lucky folk have been sent home singing, smiling and celebrating the man band’s amazing Circus tour over the past month.

And every single one will be punching the air to hear the TT juggernaut will roll on after the curtain comes down at Wembley tomorrow night.

MARK OWEN, JASON ORANGE, HOWARD DONALD and GARY BARLOW have already made a start on their sixth album during the tour.

And if history repeats itself, you can bet your boots there will be another jaw-dropping tour in 2011.

A source said: “The lads always thought the Circus album would be a good way to bow out. The last thing they planned to release was the DVD of the show which is being filmed at Wembley this weekend.

“The bond between them is so strong at the moment that they decided they should keep the momentum going.

“Mark, Howard and Jason are in the songwriting form of their life — it’s not all on Gary’s shoulders, as a lot of people think.

“The response on tour has reassured them all that there is still a huge hunger for the boys to continue.”

Gary popped in briefly to the O2 Silver Clef Awards in aid of the Nordoff-Robbins charity at London’s Hilton Hotel yesterday.

The charity provides music therapy sessions for 35,000 adults and children every year.

He presented a cheque from the band for £50,000 — money the band raised by charging pals and VIPs who have tried blagging guest-list slots on the tour.

As Gary received the top award — the O2 Silver Clef — on behalf of the band, he joked: “Don’t be playing Angels before I come up on stage! Here’s a cheque from the band from all those people who try to get away without paying for tickets to the show.”
