Take That’s Gary Barlow and celebrity friends get bingo bug
Gary Barlow and Wife
Celebrity celebratory bingo game aids Barnardo's
The celebrity bingo game was held in the swish surroundings of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in London. Gary Barlow held the bingo game in a function room of the posh hotel and acted as bingo caller much to the amusement of his celebrity friends. The special celebrity bingo game has three full house winners, Denise Van Outen, Cheryl Cole and Beverley Knight with all the proceeds from the bingo game going to Barnardo’s.
Gary Barlow and friends should play at Bingo Jetset
The celebrity guests were treated to a full evening of fun to celebrate Gary and Dawn’s decade of happy marriage. According to the Sun article the gathered celebrities enjoyed the bingo game then once the bingo game had finished the guests all took to the dance floor to let their hair down. Now that bingo has such big named players they might now like to take to their local high street Gala Bingo or Mecca Bingo halls to give the local bingo residents a little of the star treatment. If Cheryl Cole and Ronan are apprehensive and think that the paps might be out to get them with such a public appearance then they could always try a little online bingo. We are pretty sure that they would fit in just nicely at Bingo Jetset, Bingo Hollywood or maybe Posh Bingo.
Gary's den...No 10
THE dabbers were out and eyes were down when GARY BARLOW held a BINGO bash to mark his tenth wedding anniversary.
The TAKE THAT star and a gang of his closest pals marked the milestone date with missus DAWN.
He really laid on a special evening to make his lady feel like the 73.
If that's left you confused, I've added some bingo calls to get into the spirit of things. See the column on the right to decipher them.
Bizarre Lord Gaz looked to his roots in the working men's clubs of the North West by hosting a bit of Housey Housey for his showbiz clan.
MARK OWEN, and HOWARD DONALD were early arrivals at Tuesday's do.
Other mates from his Comic Relief Mount Kilimanjaro climb - FEARNE COTTON, RONAN KEATING, DENISE VAN OUTEN and ALESHA DIXON - also made an appearance.
But the venue could not have been further removed from your average social club.
Gary shelled out a small fortune to hire a function room at London's posh Mandarin Oriental hotel and also to put some of his guests up for the night.
And number five, the idea went down like a House on fire.
A source said: "Where Gary finds the time to organise everything is unbelievable.
"He spent a lot of money to make sure Dawn had a party to remember, treating her to a couple of nights in the hotel's most luxurious suite. "All their closest pals were there to enjoy it. "Gaz hosted the bingo, calling the numbers out. All the cards and dabbers were on their tables and they all got into the spirit of things.
"BEVERLEY KNIGHT, Denise Van Outen and Cheryl Cole all got a full house."
There wasn't a dry eye in the house when Howard and Mark got up and gave a speech for their friend and his wife.
There was a fundraising element to the evening too, with proceeds going to Gary's charity of choice, Barnado's.
After the bingo finished the guests all had a bit of a 35 and everyone felt like 17s.

Take That Lead U.K. Music DVD Sales Surge
Overall, music video sales ended the year up 14.1% compared to 2008.
Michael Jackson's "Moonwalker" (Warner) was at No. 2 in 2009 with sales of 305,000, followed by "The Final Reunion" (2Entertain) by Cliff Richard and the Shadows at No. 3, which moved 217,000 units. "The Killers Live From The Royal Albert Hall" (Universal) was at No. 4, followed by Il Divo's "An Evening With Il Divo - Live In Barcelona" (Sony Music) at No. 5.
New figures from the British Video Association (BVA) using data from the Official Charts Company show December unit sales for video home entertainment up 1.8% on the same time in 2008.
Q4 sales volumes were 3% lower than the same period in 2008, when mass merchant Woolworths and entertainment retailer Zavvi were still trading. The two chains represented 13% of the market and their demise hit sales in early 2009 according to the BVA.
Sales of Blu-ray discs increased 123% year-on-year to 8.4 million units. But the rising popularity of Blu-ray was offset by a 7.3% year-on-year decline in DVD sales. Overall total sales of video dipped 5.6% to 243.5 million units from 257.9 million in 2008.
"The home entertainment industry has come through the recession fighting and rallied in the run up to Christmas," said Lavinia Carey, director general of the British Video Association, in a statement.
"DVD sales are down 5.6% due to several factors, including the effects of copyright theft and the changing retail landscape. Careful shoppers have benefited from the fantastic promotional offers last year but the loss of Woolworths' and Zavvi's 900-odd stores meant that the 13% market-share they jointly represented, worth around £300 million [$477.6 million], has been slow to replace, particularly given the high propensity of Woolworths shoppers to buy on impulse. Cheryl Cole and Kimberley Walsh lead the pack at Gary Barlow's 10th wedding anniversary party
As the talent behind Take That he's the undisputed King of the boybands. So perhaps it was only natural that Gary Barlow's party saw him joined by the Queen of the girlbands.
As the singer celebrated his 10th wedding anniversary to wife Dawn last night he was joined by none other than Cheryl Cole, who led a host of stars helping the couple celebrate.
The event turned into a reunion for Barlow, Cheryl and their Mount Kilimanjaro hiking buddies, who climbed the African mountain last year for Comic Relief.
Gary, 38, married his long-term girlfriend Dawn, who will turn 40 this year, back in 2000.
The pair met in 1995 during Take That's Nobody Else tour where she worked as a backing dancer. They have three children together, Daniel, Emily, and Daisy.
Despite the success of the Kilimanjaro climb, which also included Ronan Keating and Ben Shephard, last year proved tough for Gary.
In October he was left devastated after losing his father Colin, 71, to cancer.
The party was held to celebrate Gary Barlow and wife Dawn's 10th wedding anniversary, seen together here back in 2007

Take That ten party
The TAKE THAT star celebrated his milestone 10th wedding anniversary to wife Dawn with a dinner party at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in London.
Most of the Comic Relief Kilimanjaro clan were there - ALESHA DIXON, CHERYL COLE, KIMBERLEY WALSH, FEARNECOTTON, CHRIS MOYLES, DENISE VAN OUTEN and RONAN KEATING.
Gary could have any woman of a certain age but has remained loyal to his missus and their three kids.
He's more of a man than Tiger Woods.

Gary Barlow wants fish and chips party for 10th wedding anniversary
But singer Gary Barlow is still a down-to-earth lad at heart.
The Take That frontman has invited 100 pals to celebrate his 10th wedding anniversary with dancing, bingo and a slap-up meal... of fish and chips.
Gary and wife Dawn, who have one of the most solid marriages in show business, are throwing a £250,000 party at the swanky Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Knightsbridge, London. Guests, who are thought to include Gary's bandmates Mark, Howard and Jason and old pal Robbie Williams, have been told the dress code is "glamorous".
But the food will be anything but, laid on by famous fish and chip chain Harry Ramsden's.
An insider said: "There will be oodles of the finest champagne, of course. And the venue is very swish. But Gary and Dawn are everyday folk at heart. They didn't want daft French scoff.
"Who needs it when you can have fish, chips and a good dollop of mushy peas?" She added: "Even the invites are typical of them. There's a bottle of champagne with bingo balls bursting out of the top.
"They might be worth a fortune but they know how to have a good time.
"And although they've been married for 10 years, they're still madly in love."
Gary, 38, met former backing dancer Dawn, 39, when she worked with Take That as they found fame the first time round.
He proposed with a £10,000 ring after a four-year romance and they wed on the Caribbean island of Nevis in 2000.
The couple, who live in London, have three children - Daniel, nine, Emily, seven, and nine-monthold Daisy.

Brit Awards - It’s all gong wrong for Take That
The nominations...
THIS year The Brit Awards celebrate their 30th anniversary.
But TAKE THAT fans won't join the celebrations after Brits bosses dropped the Best Live Act category - a gong the manband were nailed-on winners for.
For one year only, it will be replaced by the Most Memorable Brits Performance - to mark the event's landmark birthday.
But it's beyond me why they can't have both categories, especially for a year of incredible live shows on home soil.
Take That's spectacular Circus tour won my Bizarre award for Best Live Act.
But it's not just GARY BARLOW, MARK OWEN, JASON ORANGE and HOWARD DONALD who entertained the undercrackers off me at gigs this year.
U2, COLDPLAY, JAY-Z, OASIS and KASABIAN were sensational.
Gary has told me in the past that me he feels let down by a lack of recognition from the Brits Academy.

So this is another slap in the chops.
In 2008, TT won Best Live Act and Best Single, both voted for by the public.
But Best Band has never come their way, although they have been in with a huge shout over the last few years.
The band could still win the new gong for Most Memorable Brits Performance thanks to their Beatles Medley back in 1994.
But Best Live Act was in their pocket - and I am urging the Brits to bring it back.
To vote for TT, tune in to The Brits Hits 30 on ITV1 on January 23, hosted by MEL B.
She will present a rundown of the nominated performances and the winner will be announced at the Brits, on February 16 at Earls Court.
