Take That reunion on the cards as Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow record together in Hollywood

Could this be the moment that Take That fans have been hoping for?

Lead singer Gary Barlow sparked rumours that the entire band could soon be reunited after he was spotted outside a studio with Robbie Williams.

According to reports, the pair had been recording together at the studio in Hollywood, California.

Gary, 39, was snapped soaking up the sun outside the studio as he waited for Robbie, 36, to leave after they spent three hours inside.

Earlier, the pair had been hanging out on the set of Robbie's new video for his upcoming single Do You Mind? from his last album Reality Killed The Video Star.

And Robbie, who now permanently resides in Los Angeles, looked like the California lifestyle had done him wonders as he arrived looking toned and tanned.

Robbie, clutching a packet of cigarettes, also donned a pair of high-waisted Simon Cowell-style trousers as he was followed into the studio by his own camera crew, although it was unsure what they were filming him for.

Gary and Robbie then made their way to his LA mansion where he lives with fiancee Ayda Field.

A source told the News of the World: 'Gary and Robbie are still really close and will always meet up if Gary is in LA.

'It's a great sign for Take That fans that they've been in the studio. The reunion is sure to happen, it's just a case of when they can fit it in, but this has definitely set the wheels in motion.'

The two were last on stage together at the BBC Children in Need Rocks concert at the Royal Albert Hall London in November last year.

Although it was rumoured that Robbie would be singing with Take That, their paths only crossed as Gary introduced his former bandmate onto the the stage, but they joined a host of stars to sing at the end of the concert.

Robbie left Take That in 1995 after friction between him and his bandmates and manager Nigel Martin-Smith.

A year later, the remaining members of the group announced that they were disbanding before the reformed and were received with critically acclaim and worldwide success a decade later.
