THERE is some good news on the horizon for TAKE THAT fans suffering from withdrawal symptoms following the band's epic Circus tour last year.
It sounds like a huge production is on the way after the City of Manchester Stadium was sounded out about a Take That residency during the close season.
The stadium - home of Manchester City - hasn't been used for three years for outdoor shows, but that is changing in 2011.
A source said: "The owners were becoming concerned at the damage caused to the pitch by the big shows. But the club are spending a fortune on a new state-of-the-art pitch. It combines plastic fibres with grass, which makes it very hard wearing. Take That's management have discussed dates for next June over a minimum of three nights across a weekend."
Take That played the stadium back in 2006. Gary told me last year that his biggest regret on the Circus tour was doing too few dates. It could have sold out three times over.
Imagine the demand if ROBBIE WILLIAMS' name is on the ticket?
