GB’s 40!! Gary Barlow 40th Birthday Show For Charity

Gary Barlow will celebrate his 40th Birthday on January 20th 2011 with a special show at Shepherd's Bush Empire for family, friends and fans. The event, titled GB40, will see Gary perform songs that span a fantastic 20 year career in a small and intimate setting with profits from the show going to charity. The concert will provide an exceptional opportunity for a small number of fans to enter a ticket lottery which, if lucky, will allow them to join Gary in commemorating his special day doing what he loves doing best.

Take That have sold over 30 million albums and 7 million tour tickets over the course of their career, with their recent reunion being one of the most talked about events of the last few years. Gary Barlow's contribution to the band, as well as to British Music as a whole has been unquestionable and his reputation as a singer, songwriter, pianist and performer is undeniable.

This time Gary takes to the stage on his own for the first time in over eleven years and will perform songs from his successful career as one of the UK's most distinguished singer/songwriters. He will be backed by a band made up of close friends and acquaintances he's met along the way helping make it a night to remember, with profits from the night going to charity.

There are two ways fans can get to see this unique one-off show:

Lottery:
Fans will be given a chance to buy tickets through a lottery. Registration for the lottery starts at 9am on Tuesday 14th December 2010 and winners will be selected overnight on Wednesday and then be informed from 9am Thursday 16th. The successful applicants will have until noon Friday 17/12 to buy their tickets (£45 each - limited to a pair per person) after which they will be released.
