The pop superstars will open their tour at Sunderland's Stadium of Light, playing two consecutive nights on May 30 and 31 2011. Over 50,000 tickets have been sold for each show and hospitality for both nights is also completely sold out.

The Stadium of Light will also play host to US rock superstars King of Leon on Friday June 17 and tickets for this show go on sale at 9am on Wednesday 3 November (tomorrow). Hospitality packages are available for this show, priced from just £95.

Gary Hutchinson, SAFC Head of venue and Events said: "There has been a phenomenal demand for the Take That shows, they really are the hottest ticket in music at the moment and it's a massive honour for the Stadium of Light to be hosting the opening shows on the tour.

"We are now also gearing up for the Kings of Leon - they are a hugely popular band and we are again expecting demand for both tickets and hospitality to be very high."
